We'll embark on a comprehensive day trip to the Machu Picchu National Historic Sanctuary from Cusco and experience the grandeur of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll learn about the fascinating history surrounding this Inca archaeological complex and the Inca civilization.

During this day trip, we'll explore Peru's most significant archaeological and cultural treasure. We'll begin by picking you up at your accommodation and then transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo via ground transportation. An early departure will allow plenty of time to explore this archaeological site.

We'll enjoy the picturesque beauty of the valleys on the train ride to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will take us to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

We'll explore the Inca archaeological complex with the expert guidance of a local guide. We'll visit highlights such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Three Windows, the mausoleum, and more. At the end of the guided tour, we'll have free time to take photographs and explore the sites that most captivated us. We'll also have the opportunity to visit the city's main square, where we'll find various souvenirs.

We will return to Ollantaytambo by train and from there we will take our transportation back to Cusco.
