The tour begins at 7:00 a.m. Our private transportation will pick you up from your accommodations to begin the exclusive Sacred Valley VIP tour.
The first stop on the tour will be Chinchero, a beautiful and traditional town famous for its textiles and ceramics. You'll visit its colonial church, which houses important paintings dating from the 15th to the 17th centuries. You'll also explore the Chinchero archaeological site, which was the palace of Inca Tupac Yupanqui.
The next stop will be the circular agricultural terraces of Moray, an experimental agricultural center during the Inca era. Continuing the tour, you'll head to the Maras Salt Mines, from which some of the finest salt in the world is extracted to this day.
At noon, you'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a traditional Sacred Valley restaurant. You'll sample the flavors of this region and the best of Peruvian cuisine.
After lunch, your next destination will be Ollantaytambo, better known as the Living Inca City. Here you'll visit its military fortress, built to protect the Sacred Valley from potential invaders.
In the afternoon, you'll return to Cusco, and along the way, you'll visit the archaeological site of Pisac, located atop a steep mountain. The most incredible thing is that this important Inca city is shaped like a condor.
Finally we will return to Cusco at night, arriving at approximately 7:30 p.m. at Plaza Regocijo.
