            <\/i><\/span><\/i><\/span>Maras and Moray Tour<\/span><\/i><\/div>

            To start with our\u00a0Tour to Moray and Salinas de Maras<\/strong>, our transfer will visit you early at your hotel between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. approximately, and then we will head in our private transport to\u00a0Moray<\/strong>\u00a0already the\u00a0Maras salt mines<\/strong>On our way you will be able to see beautiful Andean landscapes surrounded by trees and wildlife.<\/p>

            First we will visit the archaeological center of\u00a0Moray<\/strong>\u00a0which is located 38 km from the city of\u00a0Cusco<\/strong>,\u00a0Moray<\/strong>\u00a0It is considered an Inca agricultural laboratory built based on circular rings or specifically formed by 4 muyus or circles which are circular platforms in concentric form, the deepest is 80 meters of depression, having the lowest platform 36 meters in diameter. Also found within the platforms are temperature variations ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 \u00b0 C per platform, which can reproduce up to 20 different types of microclimates, it is said that the purpose of this archaeological center was the cultivation of products that did not grow in this area.<\/p>

            Next, we will visit the\u00a0Maras salt mines<\/strong>, as its name indicates, are salt mines formed by around 5000 small pools, each pool producing approximately 50 to 80 kilos of salt per season. It is said that they served in the time of the Incas to supply this mineral to the entire\u00a0Cusco<\/strong>These pools are watered by an underground saltwater spring, this process is completely natural and lasts almost two months for a growing season, the salt of\u00a0Maras<\/strong>\u00a0It is highly sought after and the highest quality is the pink mineral salt, this mineral also has medicinal properties so don't forget to acquire it during our journey, since there are different products made from this salt.\u00a0<\/p>

            These two places definitely have a wealth of history and interesting facts that our guide will share with you along the way.
